Week 17.

Preparing organising and doing the interviews.

Here's just a little insight of one of the interviews.
This was a 22 year old women writing for Planet Ivy and also writes for the Huffington Post. She asked if her name wasn't included in the interview.

Week 16.

Question.

Thinking about the question I shall do my mini research project on, here is a list of questions I was thinking about that linked to my degree.

Are women overly sexually exposed in the media.

Are women represented fairly in women magazines.

Are men represented fairly in male magazine.

In the media how do they conclude to a superior male and female.

Are men represented fairly in women's magazines.

Are men represented fairly in women's magazines?

Research.

The reason why I've gone for these magazines are they are at one point I have religiously read them, so am aware of the constant representation of men in these magazines.

Questions I came up with for the interview. I chose to only come up with five as it's only a small project and didn't think it necessary to do to many questions.

Week 15.

The final piece of work should demonstrate that the student has:
- Planned and executed their own shall research project;
- Selected an appropriate research method and research question;
- Made methodological choices as appropriate for their chosen media specialism;
- Communicated their research findings in an appropriate and engaging manner;

Journalism, Media & Cultural Studies.

This project has to relate to my course however, I can chose my research method.
I can present the final piece as either an essay, magazine page, feature article, newspaper article, press release, visual essay or presentation. This needs to be appropriate for the type of research question i'm going for linking with my knowledge of field of degree.

This is an example for me as I am specialising in Journalism.
